A fellow Jeep owner once compared this hobby to playing with Legos. A Power Take Off (PTO) winch is one of the coolest Lego pieces you can put on your Jeep. Large industrial sized PTO winches are still in production, but not so for smaller 6,000# or 8,000# models better suited for a Jeep. I found mine by sheer luck after answering an ad for some Jeep parts for sale. The seller also had a very rough CJ-2A out behind his garage, but those parts were not for sale. While we leaned on the front bumper and chatted away, I mentioned that I'd like to find a PTO winch some day. On the spur of the moment, he decided to sell the complete Koenig PTO winch set-up to me. Although no longer called Koenig due to a merger, the company is still in business today. I doubt they have parts for products this old, but some of their new winches still look very similar.
